YOU- A Netflix original

Title Sequence

The brief for this project was to create a Title Sequence for a Web Series. As the new season of You just happen to release, I went ahead with that choice.

What emerged was a visual narrative that feels both polished and deeply human. The black-and-white treatment gives it a timeless, almost documentary quality, while those splashes of red hit you with immediate emotional weight. It's elegant, yes, but it's also uncomfortable in the right way setting a tone that stays with you long after the sequence ends.

Process

I set up a tabletop shoot where I could control every detail from the lighting, I used printed photographs, Inks, Ketchup,Canvas Cloth, burnt paper and filmed myself playing with the elements on screen

The challenge was using that stark contrast monochrome against red to pull the eye exactly where it needed to go with all the liquid elements also in use.
